Subaru Ascent

The base trim sets the standard for all of the other Ascent trims to follow. This trim, as well as the others, comes outfitted with the 2.4L turbocharged SUBARU BOXER® 4-cylinder engine that’s able to produce 260 horsepower, 277 lb-ft of torque, and can tow up to 2,000 pounds!

The interior comes with the 6-way manually adjustable driver’s seat and cloth seating. For style, it includes Ivory carbon fiber-patterned interior accent trim doors.

The cabin also includes the STARLINK® 6.5-inch Multimedia Plus system. On top of the 6.5-inch screen, this trim adds HD Radio®, 4-months of SiriusXM® and SiriusXM Travel Link®. The screen also includes Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.

Lastly, the base trim of the Subaru Ascent features the EyeSight® Driver Assisting Technology system. It includes the Pre-Collision Braking System, Pre-Collision Throttle Management, Lane Departure and Sway Warning, and the Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering.

Ascent Premium

The Subaru Ascent Premium merely builds on the backbone of the base trim, but adds a few new things along the way. It brings along the same engine and capabilities, except for boosting the towing capacity to 5,000 pounds, but most of its differences are revealed with what’s inside the cabin!

There’s the leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter handle, as well as the addition of stain-resistant cloth upholstery. It also offers climate controls for the second row, so riders in back can get their ideal temperature for the ride.

This trim includes the STARLINK® 8-inch Multimedia Plus system. On top of the same amenities as the previous trim, this one adds 4G LTE Wi-Fi capability, NFC technology, and voice-activated controls. As for the safety technology, it adds the Blind-Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.

Ascent Limited

The Ascent Limited trim adds a lot to the interior. It includes the power adjustable seats for both you and your front passenger. The interior seating gets updated to leather and it includes the Ivory leather interior accent trim on the dashboard and doors.

Gaining access to the vehicle is easier, thanks to the Keyless Access with Push-Button Start and PIN-code vehicle access. It also features the auto-dimming rearview compass mirror with HomeLink®. It even brings with it the 8-inch screen and features mentioned with the previous trim.

Ascent Touring

The Touring trim is the last in line, the crème de la crème. This trim adds ventilated seats which can be a major benefit during summer commutes. It also adds Captain’s Chairs to the second row to give rear riders a little more space. For added style, it features the woodgrain-patterned accent trim.

The interior also adds the smart auto-dimming rearview compass mirror with HomeLink®. As for infotainment, it carries over the 8-inch screen, but with Navigation as well! You’ll get superior audio, thanks to the Harman Kardon® Quantum Surround Sound audio system, which includes 14 speakers!
