Subaru Forester: Base


2023 Subaru Forester BaseThe base trim of the Subaru Forester offers a number of features that you’ll find across all trim levels as standard features, such as keyless entry.

The SUV comes with a 2.5L SUBARU BOXER® 4-cylinder engine that gets 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque. It also offers Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and Vehicle Dynamics Control. You can also tow 1,500 pounds with the base level trim.

For safety, you get EyeSight Driver Assist Technology across all trim levels; and you’ll have the SUBARU STARLINK® Multimedia system with a 6.5-inch display, which is also standard on the Premium and Sport trims.

The vehicle’s dimensions differ slightly on the base trim from the rest of the trim levels. The base level offers 111.6 cubic feet of passenger volume and a maximum 74.2 cubic feet of cargo volume.

Subaru Forester: Premium


2023 Subaru Forester PremiumThe Subaru Forester Premium trim upgrades a few features from the base trim. You get the panoramic power moonroof as a standard feature.

Performance features are also upgraded with the addition of standard features like X-MODE® and Hill Descent Control.

The dimensions of the vehicle also slightly change on this trim and for all remaining trims, going to 107.6 cubic feet of passenger volume and 69.1 cubic feet of maximum cargo volume.

This trim also introduces the addition of a 6-speaker sound system, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and heated front seating on remaining trim levels.

Subaru Forester: Sport


2023 Subaru Forester SportThe Subaru Forester Sport offers many of the same features as listed above. It also comes with a Lineartronic® CVT (Continually Variable Transmission) with Adaptive Control and 7-speed manual mode. The seating features Sport cloth upholstery with orange stitching and you get the leather-wrapped shifter handle on this trim and all remaining trims.

 

 

 

Subaru Forester: Wilderness


The most notable difference with the Subaru Forester Wilderness trim is an increase in towing capacity. The standard 8-speed manual mode on your Lineartronic® CVT with Adaptive Control allows you to reach a maximum towing capacity of 3,000 pounds.

The Wilderness trim also upgrades the display on your SUBARU STARLINK® Multimedia system to 8.0 inches.

Subaru Forester: Limited


2023 Subaru Forester LimitedThe Subaru Forester Limited trim offers new standard features like Power Rear Gate with automatic close, height memory function, and vehicle lock button. It also provides standard leather-trimmed upholstery for the interior.

 

 

 

 

Subaru Forester: Touring


Finally, the Subaru Forester Touring trim provides a few features specific to only this trim level, such as standard heated steering wheel, heated rear outboard seats, and power adjustable front seats.

The SUBARU STARLINK® Multimedia system now comes with an 8-inch screen and Navigation standard. You also get the Harman Kardon® premium audio system as a standard feature.
