INTERIOR
Subaru Legacy

Whether you're participating in the office carpool, going to the movies with your family, or showing some friends around town, you want everyone along for the ride to have plenty of wiggle room.

An Interior That Puts Your Comfort First

You can count on the Legacy to be your wiggle room wagon! It provides you and your passengers with 105.5 cubic feet of total passenger space, summed up in these measurements:

  • Headroom (front/rear): 39.4/37.2 inches
  • Shoulder room (front/rear): 58.1/57.4 inches
  • Legroom (front/rear): 42.8/39.5 inches
Enjoy Added Wiggle Room

When it comes to comfort, the Camry is more of a stretch—and not in a good way. Its first-row headroom measurement only comes to 38.3 inches, its first-row shoulder room comes to 57.7 inches, and legroom is capped at 42.1 in.

While some Camry measurements come close to the competitor, its total passenger volume falls short at 99.3 cubic feet. Talk about cramping your style!

With more wiggle room in the Subaru Legacy, both the tall and the small passengers in your life can kick back and relax.

PERFORMANCE
Subaru Legacy

You know the crew has plenty of room to stay comfy, but will you be able to keep them safe when that commute is hit with a sudden thunderstorm?

Take Command of the Terrain

With a capable all-wheel drive system, very few types of terrain or weather can derail your traction. Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive is standard on every trim level of the Legacy, as is Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC). With these adaptive systems in play, cornering and low-traction navigation are all kicked up a notch!

All-wheel drive is available with some trims of the Toyota Camry; however, it’s going to require an upgrade. Not only that, but it lacks standard VDC.

Prepared for the Unpredictable

On top of your own expertise, you can rely on EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology and Toyota Safety Sense™ 2.5+ to feel confident and comfortable behind the wheel. These safety suites are standard on the Legacy and the Camry; plus, they share similar systems, including:

  • Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering
  • Pre-Collision Braking
  • Lane Departure and Sway Warning
  • Lane Keep Assist
  • High Beam Assist

With the help of these features, handling sudden inclement weather or tricky driving conditions will be a piece of cake.

TECHNOLOGY
Subaru Legacy

As you weather that rainstorm or the long hours of any commute, the Subaru Legacy provides peak connectivity. From an expanded touchscreen display to a booming sound system, there’s no beating what the legendary Legacy has to offer.

At Your Tech and Call

With an upgrade, Subaru Legacy drivers can enjoy an optional STARLINK® 11.6-inch Multimedia Navigation system.

Such a large screen is a lot more like a traditional tablet than a car interface. You can access your phone’s apps and your favorite streaming media from here (including your latest bingeworthy podcast addiction).

While the Camry does offer a comprehensive infotainment system with similar apps and capabilities, it all comes in a smaller package. At most, you’ll have a 9-inch touchscreen, which may make it difficult to read available navigation directions.

Enhance Your Experience

While their infotainment displays are different sizes, they both support Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. So, no matter which phone brand you own, you’ll be able to tune in to your favorite news station before the news breaks.

However, your listening experience will be crisper in the Legacy thanks to its available and legendary Harman Kardon® 12-speaker premium audio system. While the Toyota sports available JBL® speakers, you’ll only find up to nine in the Camry’s cabin.
