Subaru Outback Infotainment Technology
The 2022 Outback comes with the STARLINK® Dual 7.0-inch Multimedia system. This system comes with dual 7-inch touchscreen displays that provide access to your media options, connectivity, and vehicle systems and information. You can use the screens to access your media, from the Bluetooth®-paired phone, USB-connected device, the HD Radio®, or even one of the 500+ stations offered with the SiriusXM® trial.
The screen also includes Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. These features will actually integrate your phone into the screen, so you can use it to select options like your text messages, apps, contacts, and media library.
Comfort & Convenience Technology
The Subaru Outback has plenty to offer in terms of comfort and convenience. The Premium trim comes with the power adjustable driver’s seat, which allows you to easily find your preferred level of seating comfort. The Limited trim includes the 2-position driver’s seat and power mirror memory. This feature will readjust to your preferred seating and mirror positions when you resume driving duties.
The Limited trim also includes the Keyless Access with Push-Button Start and PIN-Code vehicle access. This feature allows you to easily gain access to your vehicle without having to manually unlock it, just as long as the key is within close proximity.
Subaru EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology
The Outback comes standard with the EyeSight® system, which is a collection of driver-assisting technology features that are designed to detect potential issues and use warnings and braking to help you prevent them from happening.
They work by using exterior sensors that measure your speed, the proximity to other cars, and even your position in the lane. These features include:
- Pre-Collision Braking
- Pre-Collision Throttle Management
- Lane Keep Assist and Sway Warning
- Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering
